Child m arriage has been practiced long in Afghan istan. Child marriage deprives the girls of their right of education which is one of the basic human rights. After marriage the girl has to serve her husband and his family and on the other hand she has to drop out from school. Child marriage is a barrier for the education of the girl and rarely girl will get access to education completely. After the marriage the child more often is not allowed by her husband or in laws to go to school. And if she wants to go to sch ool and attempts then she may face with the violence from her husband and in laws . Child marriage also effects the social and personal development of the girls. After the marriage, many girls are forced to drop out from school; very less portion is fortun ate that they receive schooling before the marriage. Most of child brides are uneducated and they are considered as unskilled person so they are fully dependent on their husband and in laws to maintain the life . In this research, the impact of child marri age on girls{u2018} formal education is investigated.
