This technology mainly utilizes electricity in a form of current or voltage, sonic frequencies, wavelengths, light intensities, magnetic fields and many more with the sole purpose of increasing product yield and a lower harvest time. This study focuses on three treatments that major under electro culture; three groups which have been shadowed apart because of the increase in public interest over magneto culture. The three treatments are as follows; monochromatic wavelengths, ultra-sonic frequency in the form of sound waves and DC electric current. Each treatment was based on a range of sub treatments from low range to high values to lettuce seeds to measure the impact on lettuce germination and seedling growth. Results showed that electrical impulses proved to be favorable in all aspects with respect to the control. Sonic waves as a whole did not grant a stable result for the tested parameters and failed to show a pattern. Because the test subject was lettuce and taking into consideration that the larger leaf size been market favorable for lettuce growing them in 470nm and with a current of 4 mA would be ideal UR - http://203.159.5.9/ait-thesis/detail.php?q=B13885 ER -
