Radar is a system that use for object detection based on radio waves. It will use the parameters such as velocity, distance, angle of departure, angle of arrival etc. for locate targets. This study expresses about MIMO radar development with USRP B210 device. USRP B210 is a software defined universal radio peripheral device. Concerned parameter will be distance to target. Since USRP B210 is not specifically designed for radar systems and due to hardware limitations the scope of this project is narrow. Necessary calculations are shown that used for target location estimation. Also a brief discussion about MIMO radar compared to single antenna radar is also presented with the help of a MATLAB model that used to simulate MIMO and Phased Array radar systems.
