Mobile business is an area of the telecommunication sector with perhaps the greatest potential for growth. Reasons for this include the ever-increasing number of mobile phone users. Another reason is the high level of acceptance of electronic services promoted by the Internet. Customers now want to access these services from mobile devices so that they can take advantage of them anytime and from anywhere in the world. The travel industry could be the one of the industries, which will benefit the most from mobile business. As travel increases, so does the demand for hospitality services, hotel accommodations, conference facilities, and restaurants. Thus, the requirement to remain connected and perform tasks while travelling, regardless of time and place are becoming increasingly important. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to structure, design and implement a mobile website for the existing dot com company, Phuket.com, to create additional value of its internet investment by providing access to its services through mobile handsets.
