Myanmar have been located between the two developed countries, China and India, and connected these two countries as land bridge. But the Myanmar{u2019}s road network is incomplete and still at the primary stage of ASIAN road standard. To have smooth and safe transportation, the Government of Myanmar implemented the first expressway project at 2010. Because of the quality management system has not been paid much attention, many weaknesses and defects are occurred more and more and the Government faced complained from public about that project. With this regard, this report has been analyzed based on quality management system of expressway project and discussed clearly about the whole project life cycle. This report also pointed out the strength and weakness of this project. According to the practice process, the report proposed the owner{u2019}s quality management system framework for developing road construction project in Myanmar. Moreover, some recommendations were suggested to improve the performance in terms of expressway project
