A dynamic model of nitrification including bacterial growth equations , substrates-bateria concentrations relations and nitrogen mass balance is developed considering (1 ) no inhibitory effect , (2) with non-competitive inhibition effect and (3) with competitive inhibition effect. There are fourteen parameters to be tested f or sensitivity and five variables used to determine t he specific condition. Sensitivity analysis cased on the specified condition was revealed a nd the maxi mum specific growth rate of ammonia oxidizing bateria was determined as the most sensitive parameter out of fourteen parameters. The specified conditions were arbitrarily chosen and the sensitive parameters depending upon the specific conditions are presented in tables and graphs.
