The CDM would allow Annex I countries to work with other countries to reduce emissions though projects consistent with local development needs, and gain credits from such actions. Hence, Estimating emission baseline of power system and emission reduction due to CDM project es is important. This study examines to calculate the level of emission t of electric power system based on unit commitment. The CDM projects examined are biomass, small-hydro, solar and wind plants. The study also evaluates the emission reduction due to the CDM project based on Economic dispatch considering network constraints. In some recent year , many electric utilities and power network companies world-wide have forced to change their ways of doing business, from vertically integrated mechanisms to open market systems. In order to compare the emission reduction between deregulated and regulated environment, the study also calculates the emission of all power system and the emission reduction due to a CDM project in sytem UR - http://203.159.5.9/ait-thesis/detail.php?q=B08176 ER -
