The objective was to verify the applicability of the AGNPS model (Version 5.00) for the simulation of runoff, sediment and nutrient yields from the selected watershed. Extensive field and observed data were collected and the model was calibrated and validated. Calibration and validation results showed that the AGNPS model could be used successfully. It revealed that the runoff volume, calculated by the SCS curve number method, and the nutrient yields are simulated with better accuracy than that of sediment yield. The peak flow calculated by CREAMS equation is overpredicted by the model and needs modification in the model component itself.
