| 520 | _aIt is true that high-rise building requires a lot of planning and one of the most important that need to be covered is safety planning. There is numerous data which demonstrates that a well-designed safety management system can help the project in term of reducing accidents, incidents, injuries or illnesses. In addition, a well-prepared management system also supports the project of improving productivity and quality, creating a great working environment and obtaining lots of benefits for company. The famous slogan in many years 2Safety First!3 can show how important of safety in not only construction industry but also other businesses. However, safety in construction project is always a tremendous problem which is difficult but not impossible to solve. By updating the management system frequently, the manager can develop the status of safety better. Vietnam is taking steps to reduce accidents and incidents in construction project as much as possible but the statistic of safety still not performs as expected. By evaluating the case study of the safety management plan used in the Empire City project, I would like to analyze the strengths, weaknesses and give recommendations to improve the management system by setting up a framework of safety procedure. | ||
