The barangay database for provincial planning is feasible provided that the data gathered/ collected are of high quality. However, careful planning is needed to ensure that no irrelevant information is included in the database. The feasibility of implementing a distributed database management system which would conform to the government ' s decentralization thrust should be further looked into.
