| 520 | _aThe privatization of Thai government owned and subsidized electric generation facilities have the main objective that privatization will be help to reduce government's budget and burden as result of world economic set back and Thailand have faced with this situation since the previous 10 years. Therefore, the Thai government have given the policy to its state enterprises restructuring of their organization into private power company for increasing their efficiency. Besides, this policy have also promoted freely power market competition by allowing private investors to be a part of power producers in the manner of Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Small Power Producer (SPP). As the results, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) will have to face with many impacts from these power private companies, especially the impact of its employee and the impact of electricity price rate structure on privatization under freely power market competition. This research study are focused on the restructuring process of EGAT into power private company, the criteria for excellent state enterprise being and its control, the Board of EGAT agreement to excellent state enterprise, advantages and disadvantages of excellent state enterprise being and its preparation, EGAT's subsidiary company establishment and selling it to private sector. The impact of electricity price rate structure on privatization are to study the evaluation and wholesale adjustment among power utility, the possible electricity price under freely power market and purchasing of electricity from IPP projects and neighboring countries. For the impact of its employee on privatization process are general information on the respondent, respondent's personal perception of consequences of privatization and respondent and efficiency of EGAT to develop the concept of privatization. | ||
