| 520 | _aThe economic growth rate of Thailand over the past year has resulted in a high rate increase of energy consumption which is varied in a wide range due to the diversity in design construction, using purpose, operating period, etc. To consider the way for finding suitable amount of energy consumption of each space building, energy target for improved planning is need. In this study, the energy target was conducted at Montien hotel Pattaya, Purposed by The Hotel Association Pattaya and Surapong C., is modify by considering the effects of (i) different types of areas (spaces), (ii) the use of OTTV calculation and Lighting, daylighting application. Montien Hotel comprised with 4 building, Main building (guess Room), Orchid and Cattaleya which are composed of seminar room and conference room. Finally Arcade building purposed for shopping center and fitness club. After the analysis of past five years annual energy data and doing energy audit from the hotel completed, the table for setting energy target is created then data from energy audit and minimum standard from ECPA are fill to compare the existing and minimum requirement. The final result of energy target was adjusted for improvement and planning which is set up by applied 2 energy consumption activities, false wall to decrease OTTV and Day lighting to decrease lighting power consumption. The result is found that the existing energy index (kWh/year*m²) of this hotel is 250-300 kWh/yr*m² approximately which equal to the result was done by Surapong C. and Bundit. L was conducted in 3 sample hotels located in Bangkok, 1992, however some spaces still over than minimum standard ECPA. After applied false wall and daylighting application the hotel should saving 931,899 Baht/year with 2 year payback period which affect to energy index target for improved planning is decreased to 200-250 kWh/yr*m² by average. Additionally the hotel is replacing the artificial lighting from incandescent lamps to compact fluorescent lamps which saving is 40,946 Baht/year and 1.6 year approximately. | ||
