520 _aBangna-Bangpakong Highway have a serious problem with settlement and stability of road embankment. Ground improvement by Deep Mixing Method is used to rehabilitate this highway. Laboratory trial mixes were conducted cement slurry to determine optimum mix proportions to achieve undrained shear strength 500 kPa in laboratory or unconfined compressive strength of 1000 kPa. Dry mixing was performed to investigate the behaviour of treated soil with different type of admixtures. Basic properties, undrained shear strength, and oedometer test were conducted to investigate the behaviour of cement, BEEST AR F, and cement + BEEST AR A treated soil. The addition of BEESTAR A additive to soil-cement can improved the strength of untreated soil than used cement only. BEESTAR F admixture cannot significantly improved the strength of untreated soil but it can improved the consolidation characteristics of untreated soil. Cement admixture is the most suitable and economical method for improving the strength and consolidation characteristics of untreated soil and it easily available. Cement admixture was used to prepare unconfined compression test specimens with different water cement ratio. Mixing was performed by used soil sample from Bangna-Bangpakong Highway at specified depth. Higher water cement ratio, produced unconfined compressive strength. The improved strength at each depth is dependent on the strength and physical properties of untreated soil. The unconfined compressive strength of 1 OOOkPa can be achieved by slurry mixing with 200 kg/m3 of cement at water cement ratio of 0.5 at 28 days. Dry mixing can achieved such strength at 150 kg/m3 of cement content. Dry mixing with 1.0 kg of BEES TAR A additive can attain such strength with 125kg/m 3 of cement content. Bangna-Bangpakong Highway with Deep Mixing Method improvement was analysed regarding the bearing capacity, total and rate of settlements, and stability of embankment. Different cement pile spacing and length were analysed to find out the optumum design consisting of 0.6m diameter, I.5 m spacing and 16m length for Section 4 at km 34+790 to km 40+800.
