520 _aIn this decade, innovation has become an alternative to strengthen an organization. However, innovation in Thailand is still in prog ressive order but much lesser than its expected level. The Siam Cement Group (SCG) is one of the Thai organizations , that has been recognized as the best innovative organization in Thailand. This brings to the intention of studying the impact of manageme nt factors under the concept of the 7S framework of McKinsey on innovative organization by using SCG as a case study in order to provide the best practice for other organizations which aim to be the innovative organization. The study is considered to be a qualitative study. Main data is retrieved from four in - dept interviews from the management team and the employees who created the innovat ive product. Supporting data is collected from magazines, newspapers, and publications. This study showed that there are three main phases that SCG has turned itself to be the in novative organization: Pre - Implemented phase , Thru - Implementation phase , and Post - Implemented phase. In each phase, different factors affect to SCG differently , but the important factors are : the former business environment that force the organization to go for innovation, the leader who realizes the importan ce of having innovation, the organization strategy that included innovation as a main strategy, and the organization culture that support emp loyees to be more innovative. After all the findings, the study pointed out the company's strengths as well as highlighted the weaknesses for future improvement
