520 _aA key user group is a group of people that brings various expertise and supports for implementing (computer) systems. This group is a key factor for implementing successfully, for example, a computer maintenance management system (CMMS), which is the case that has been studied for this thesis. Usually the CMMS implementation project manager determines the key user group from his or her perception. A method has been developed in order to evaluate potential members for the key user group, in terms of degree of compliance, which has two components, the certainty compliance and the desire compliance. Certainty compliance measures how much certain the manager is about a potential member in terms of expertise. Desire compliance measures how much desirable a potential member is in terms of the desired level of expertise. In this study, a computer tool has also been developed in order to facilitate the key user group determination based on the proposed method. This computer tool helps systematize the employee profiles, employee evaluation, and other closely related issues.
