520 _aIndividuals and institutions need robust document verification systems for identity proofs, academic certificates, and military status documents. Current systems face issues like limited data availability and verification challenges, leading to fraud and mistrust. In Thailand, military service is mandatory, and military status documents are crucial for employment and legal compliance. Controversies involving high-profile figures have highlighted the need for accurate document authentication. Blockchain technology provides a decentralized and tamper-proof ledger as a solution that ensures integrity, traceability, and immutability of documents, preventing unauthorized alterations and forgeries. This technology has the capacity to go beyond cryptocurrencies, with the goal of improving transparency and security in the management of documents for the benefit of society and the public. The objective is to create a blockchain-based application for recording and managing military status in Thailand, addressing flaws in the current system and contributing to a more secure and transparent management of critical documents. The research suggests using a system based on blockchain technology, namely Hyperledger Fabric, to enhance the verification process of military status documents. This system treats military data as assets within a network, enhancing transparency and security. Developed with IntelliJ IDEA and JavaFX, the system allows secure and transparent verification of documents by institution admins. The implementation includes setting up the Fabric network, configuring components, and deploying chaincode. This application not only secures military documents but also demonstrates the broader potential of Hyperledger Fabric for document verification.
