520 _aAsian Institute of Technology (AIT), located in Bangkok, Thailand, is a multi-cultural and multi-nationality institute where more than 2,200 people study, work and live together as in a community. Water to AIT is supplied by PWA through AIT water supply system constructed in 1970. Since then, till now, lack of research in assessment of water supply system in terms of existing level of leakages. On other hand, increasingly growing rate of population, expected 9.6 billion by 2050, it is firm to keep constant the pattern of water consumption for any longer period. Therefore, this research is undertaken to assess the AIT-WSS by benchmarking community level (IWA-PIs) and through hydraulic modelling (Epanet 2.0) along with comparisons of various behavioral characteristics of water users (Such as: Nationality level, Community/Religion level, students vs staff & guests, etc).Various classification processes were carried out within AIT community in order to compare possible interesting water users with each other. Addition to this, Hydraulic Model for AIT-WSS was developed as a result of calibrating and validating the model by introducing obtained data of field measurements for two consecutive weeks, 24hrs (10 {u2013} 24 Dec, 2014) in six stations. The key findings, while comparing various water users, were that, various factors such as: Climatical condition, availability of facilities, Academic Holidays, Uncertainty in population, socioeconomic development, and other cultural activities: Christmas, Eid ul-Fitr, Holi, Songkran and etc. jointly effects the lpcd trend to be risen up and down. The key findings of hydraulic model shows that during peak demand, the low and high pressure zones ranges between 18 to 20, and 15.5 to 17.5 m of pressure head respectivelyand leakage level is 33.70% (30.70% by water balance). Various scenarios for leakage reduction were developed such as: Pipe Upgrading of high leakage zone (leakage level reduces to 31.74%), PRV introduction at inlet point (Leakage level reduces to 31.74%), combined of first two scenarios where Leakage level reduces to 20.6 percent and etc. Addition to this, five more scenarios related to introduction of various inlet pressure condition to the model developed and their respected results of all scenarios were compared with each other in conjunction with base scenario
