Vietnam is now a country with stable political environment, a high rate of economic growth, and the target of becoming an industrial country in 2020. Heavy industries are contributing to this growth. The industrial gas considered as 2infrastructure3 for the core industries of the economy like steel, chemicals, oil refinery, will be in high growth period. A number of industrial gas plant will be erected in the years coming. The Air Separation Unit erection industry will be developed as a separate erection industry sooner or later. PH Company has been established for 10 years and it has experience in different activities, but has no core business to grow. The company realizes that the ASU is new in Vietnam and is in its initial phase in terms of awareness and understanding in the implementation process, the prospects for this business are believed to be very promising. The company top Managers have selected ASU as its core business to achieve these opportunities. This research aims to formulate an appropriate strategy and practical framework for implementation of the ASU for PH, with a view to consolidate its current position and further growth in the future.
